Up to 30 providers are expected at a funding expo at Hotel Ashburton on April 12.

The expo is being run by Ashburton Council of Social Services (Ashcoss) in conjunction with sponsor the Community Trust of Mid and South Canterbury.

The expo will provide information for groups seeking funding.

30 invitations have been sent out, covering everything from government agencies to poker machine trusts.

The expo will be useful for social service, cultural, sporting and environmental groups.
