Prominently situated on the main street of Methven. The Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre is a focal point for visitors to the Ashburton District, and in particular to the Methven and Mt Hutt Area. The Methven i-SITE is a regional office of the Visitor Information Network (VIN) which can easily be recognised by the green ‘i’ and logo. 

The Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre provides the following services:

- The centre is open for face-to-face, telecommunication and mail contact 7 days a week, 364 days a year.
- Provides information on local accommodation, travel, sightseeing, attractions, activities, restaurants, and retailers.
- Provides a complete reservation system for Mid Canterbury and New Zealand including accommodation, activities, air, train and ferry bookings, tours and itineraries.
