The Ashburton District Tourism Development Board (ADTDB) is a Council funded agency comprising of representatives from the tourism industry, business community and Ashburton District Council. The Board oversees the operation of Ashburton District Tourism, Ashburton i-SITE Visitor Centre and the Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre.

Research Assistants / Interviewers

We are seeking enthusiastic people to work as part of our team of interviewers who will be responsible for undertaking field research on selected events held within the Ashburton District.

The position will involve attending events to survey attendees/participants on their expenditure during their stay to determine the economic impact of such events.

Past experience preferred, however full training will be given.

The ideal applicants will need to have the following attributes:

·          Good communication skills
·          Enthusiastic
·          Team player
·          Tidy handwriting
